MountPoint is strictly an educational project. The software distributed, both vintage and new, are provided within the locked down sandboxed environments under the premise of software preservation, abandonware, and fair use for educational analysis.
The sandboxed environments provided are patched to the latest available version, locked down and internet access is simulated via a secure MountPoint intranet. Do not attempt to use MountPoint environments for illegal activities, hosting malware, or attacking external networks, including MountPoint. The internet connectivity within the environments are strictly controlled.
We store only the bare minimum data required to operate the platform: your username, a securely hashed password, and your quest progression. Nobody at MountPoint will ever ask for your password, and no external sources have access to your information.
